Our Plan

What is the Community of Hope?

Is modeled after the successful design of San Antonio’s “Haven of Hope

Our multi structure campus is planned to provide individual centers for

• Housing   • Health care

• Counseling  • Job Training

We propose to develop a multi-acre complex of buildings in a campus-like setting that can provide both housing and a wide variety of services in an integrated program.

We will develop a comprehensive program that will meet people where they are and offer them a place where they can achieve stability and begin to rebuild their lives.

We plan to provide a continuum of incremental, realistic steps that an individual can accomplish, acquiring greater self-confidence and the skills required to achieve and maintain both independence and self-sufficiency.

In short, we want to develop a supportive and transformational community that will provide an opportunity for people caught up in despair, discouragement and frustration a place of HOPE that life can be full of meaning and purpose again.

It will be aCOMMUNITY OF HOPE”.

Break the cycle of homelessness by providing critical interventions to immediate pressing conditions.

•  Address root causes of homelessness through education, job training and behavioral health services that empower homeless individuals to live independent of governmental assistance.

In short, we plan to develop a supportive and transformational community that will be viewed by people in need as a welcome resource.  Those caught up in despair, discouragement and frustration can find a place of HOPE that offers tangible evidence that life can be full of meaning and purpose.

The Community of Hope will offer the following types of housing and services ALL IN ONE SITE!

Emergency Shelter- low-demand, walk-in facility that provides temporary housing for up to 90 days.

Transitional Housing- offers residents stable housing for one to twenty-four months with access to supportive services.

Permanent Supportive Housing -- combination of permanent housing and supportive services intended to keep people stable, ending the repeated cycles of homelessness.
